a cool gift given to us, an autographed hockey stick from walleye pro and AHL hockey all-star Mike Peluso, #22 for the Portland Pirtates. It
was awful nice of him, and it's a cool stick. I'm sure all hockey sticks are made from carbon hollow shafts nowadays, but the last one I
held was my old wooden Northland when I was a kid. I only associated graphite with fishing rods, but I know it's used in high-end bike frames
as well. This stick is about a third of the weight of my old piece of lumber. The first thing I wanted to do was take a slapshot!
