Our original "carpe carpio" carp-logo hat was featured in the February '99 issue of In-Fisherman, as seen here. The carp logo design has since been keenly updated to this.

While the carp remains as one of the most sought after "game" fish in Europe, it's fighting qualities and sizeable portions are gradually becoming appreciated in North America. The most sophisticated methods and tackle are developed in Europe, especially for the heavily pressured lakes, but, North America remains as the largest and for the most part, untapped resource for the wild carp. A record or two is sure to swim in one of the Great Lakes.

With its large readership base and open-mind to appreciating all fish, the In-Fisherman has led the way in educating the most North Americans about fishing for carp as a sporting fish.
